A: Daddy, why are you going to have a "conversation" with my teacher?
Me: It's called a "conference", not a "conversation".
A: Why are you having a "con-fer-sation" with my teacher?
Me: Mommy and I are having a "con-fer-ence" with your teacher so she can tell us what you do in class each day.
A: Daddy, you don't need to have a "con-fer-ence" with my teacher... you can just ask me.
