This is from October, but I just remembered. Avery and I were headed to Trader Joe's grocery to pick up a few things. As we walked toward the store in the parking lot, Avery shouted to me.
A: Hey Daddy!
Me: What?
A: Hey Daddy!
Me: Hey, WHAT?
A: HEY DADDY!!!
Me: Avery this is ridiculous... hey what? What would you like me to look at?
A: Hey!
Me: Hey!?
A: Yes, that's it.
Me: What?
At that point he pointed to the bales of hay that pumpkins were sitting on top of outside the store.
A: You see... Hay!
Me: ohhhhhhhh, hay.
A: Hey Daddy!
Me: What?
A: Hey Daddy!
Me: Hey, WHAT?
A: HEY DADDY!!!
